Princess Diana’s niece has revealed her baby daughter’s name three months after her birth – and it’s absolutely adorable.
Kitty Spencer welcomed her daughter with husband Michael Lewis back in March, and on Saturday she shared a sweet update confirming the baby’s name for the first time.
Posting on Instagram, Kitty shared an adorable black-and-white picture of her daughter stood on a windowsill wearing a patterned dress as she holds her child upright and tenderly kisses her head.
And in the caption she revealed her daughter’s name is Athena, saying: ‘Athena watching the world go by.’
Royal fans seem to love her name, with one fan commenting: ‘What a beautiful name and photo’.
Another commented: ‘Such a beautiful name!’
While a third added: ‘Athena is so gorgeous!! Like her mama.’
Lady Kitty Spencer is the daughter of Princess Diana’s brother Charles Spencer and his former wife Victoria Aiken.
She married Michael Lewis, a South African-born businessman and chair of Foschini Group, a fashion and clothing company.
Most royal fans had no idea she had been pregnant at all until she shared a post on social media in March to mark Mother’s Day.
She shared a picture holding Athena on a beach, captioned: ‘It’s the joy of my life to be your mummy, little one. I love you unconditionally.
‘Happy Mother’s Day to those who celebrate today.’
