Can he turn things around?
It’s safe to say that former Blue Devil Cam Reddish’s NBA career hasn’t worked out quite the way most people expected it.
At one point, he was seen as the embodiment of positionless basketball. At 6-8, he can do just about anything on the court. The problem is that between injuries and circumstance, he has never quite lived up to expectations.
So re-signing with L.A. at the veteran’s minimum of $2.5 million was probably his best option. And he should get plenty of chances on offense with JJ Redick as his new coach.
But health has always been an obstacle for Reddish and his toughness has been questioned since he was at Duke. So he has a lot of questions to answer, even after seven years in the league.
