Leading the crowd through the streets of Florence, the peloton embarked upon the hilly first three stages of the Tour de France. This year's race kicked off with temperatures of 35 degrees Celsius (95 Fahrenheit) forecast in the shade, in a race 'billed as a four-way struggle' between Vingegaard, Iurk, Roglic, and Evenepoel.
