India sealed a convincing win against England in their T20 World Cup semifinal showdown in Guyana. The match came out as a one-sided approach as Rohit Sharma and Co. won by 68 runs and are now to proceed and face South Africa in the Final.
Defending a target of 172 runs, India bowled out England for 103 in 16.4 overs as they just outplayed them all in all departments in a rain-struck match. Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav were in good form and got three wickets each. Right behind them, was Jasprit Bumrah, who took two wickets respectively. For England’s bowling department, Chris Jordan took three wickets.
The match had it’s fair share of drama and epic action. But one particular moment after the game got over caught everyone’s attention. In a video that has been going viral, all Indian players could be seen coming to congratulate the umpire for a good game. But the official decided to have ignored Bumrah by mistake, even though he was right next to him. At one point, for half-a-second, the umpire even turned to the bowler, but then continued to ignore him and shook hands with other players.
