CROWLEY, La. (KLFY) -- A Crowley man was arrested Wednesday in connection with possession of child pornography, authorities said.
Shannon Robert Primeaux, 42, of Crowley, is charged with 15 counts of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13 in Acadia Parish.
The arrest was the result of a joint investigation with the Louisiana Attorney General’s Cyber Crime Unit, the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office and Homeland Security Investigations, officials said. Agents from the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Primeaux was booked into the Acadia Parish Jail on $50,000 bond.
This investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
