Canada’s Leylah Fernandez is on a roll with Wimbledon around the corner.
Fernandez advanced to the semifinals of the Eastbourne International with a 6-2, 6-1 demolition of Harriet Dart of Great Britain on Thursday.
Fernandez, from Laval, Que., won 80.8 per cent of points when she got her first serve in and faced just one break point in the match at the Wimbledon tune-up event.
The world No. 30 is 5-1 in her grass-court season. It marks her first semifinal of the year.
She’ll next face the winner of a match between American Madison Keys and Karolina Muchova of Czechia.
