Naomi Watts and Daughter Kai Schreiber Wear Contrasting Balenciaga Ensembles With Matching Pumps at Paris Fashion Week

Naomi Watts and her 15-year-old daughter Kai Schreiber attended the Balenciaga fall couture 2024 show together during Paris Fashion Week on June 26, wearing contrasting white and black ensembles but matching with sharp black pumps. They were just one of multiple mother-daughter duos at the show.
Both mother and daughter opted for long ankle-length skirts and long sleeve tops. However, Watts wore all white while Schreiber went in the opposite direction, dressed head-to-toe in black. Watts wore a classic jacket with a modern flair, featuring a deep V-neck and a striking wide-set collar. She accentuated the outfit’s elegance with white opera gloves, dangling pearl earrings and a black purse.
Juxtaposing her mother, Schreiber’s black midi skirt was paired with a lacy sheer top, which included a V-neck and a small cut-out. Her accessories included large silver earrings and a black purse. Watts and Schreiber matched with black sunglasses that contributed a chic sensibility to their ensembles.
The actress and her daughter rounded out their outfits with matching black pumps in a satin-like material. Enclosed in the front and back, the shoes featured a razor sharp toe and a narrow stiletto heel. The sheen of the fabric made their footwear stand out and provided a throughline for their different colored outfits.
Balenciaga is known for its Knife pump silhouette, which comes in a range of styles. The 110 mm iteration designed with a matte finish retails for $975. Celebrities regularly showcase the shoe, with stars like Taraji P. Henson and Nicole Kidman stepping out in their own pairs.
The Balenciaga show isn’t the first time Watts attended a fashion show alongside her teenage daughter, whom she shares with her former husband Liev Schreiber. In April, the duo attended the Dior pre-fall show in Brooklyn, where Schreiber wore pointed mesh flats and Watts wore platform heels.
