FROM health and beauty to food, many shoppers will know that Aldi is the king of the supermarket dupes.
And the latest product to send shoppers into a meltdown is the popular ‘Changing Robe,’ which is a replica of Dryrobe’s rather pricey outerwear staple.
Aldi’s DryRobe dupe will be hitting the SpecialBuys section this Sunday[/caption]If you haven’t heard of Dryrobe in recent months, then you must’ve been living under a rock.
They’re loved by many who hope to keep themselves warm and dry after a dip in the sea, but there’s no denying that at £164.95, the ‘Dryrobe Advance Long Sleeve Changing Robe’ comes at a hefty cost.
So it’s little surprise Aldi shoppers are gearing up to race to their nearest branch to snap up the replica version, with children’s sizes 5-14 years priced at £29.99 and adult sizes S-XL costing £39.99.
That means shoppers can save themselves a whopping £124.96 when compared to the real deal.
And the good news is Aldi has even revealed the exact date it’ll be hitting the SpecialBuys section….this Sunday.
But you better be quick, as with all SpecialBuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Aldi’s windproof and quick-dry robes are made from 100% polyester with a cosy fleece lining and are an essential for those looking to enjoy a British staycation.
Featuring full front zippers, Velcro fasteners at the sleeves and plenty of pockets, they’re designed to keep shoppers comfortable, whatever the weather.
Another cheaper DryRobe alternative is Next‘s ‘Swim Changing Robe.’
But priced at £99, the Aldi version is still 60% cheaper, meaning shoppers can save themselves an impressive £59.01.
It comes after Fabulous previously revealed the supermarket chain were preparing to launch four Subway sauce replicas.
A man named John took to his TikTok page and posted a glimpse at the products, which come in four different flavours.
Similarly to the popular eatery, the sauces on offer include sweet onion, chipotle mayonnaise, marinara and teriyaki-style glaze.
They’re amusingly named Metro sauce, from Aldi’s Bramwells range, and also have a yellow and green logo – just like Subway.
John captioned the video: “NEW Aldi Subway Dupe Sauces!”
IF you’ve ever shopped in Aldi or Lidl then you’ll probably have experienced its ultra-fast checkout staff.
Aldi’s speedy reputation is no mistake, in fact, the supermarket claims that its tills are 40 per cent quicker than rivals.
It’s all part of Aldi’s plan to be as efficient as possible – and this, the budget shop claims, helps keep costs low for shoppers.
Efficient barcodes on packaging means staff are able to scan items as quickly as possible, with the majority of products having multiple barcodes to speed up the process.
It also uses “shelf-ready” packaging which keeps costs low when it comes to replenishing stock.
