McCain’s night is looking better than Filipowski’s is
We’re just hours away from the 2024 NBA Draft now and for Duke’s Jared McCain and Kyle Filipowski, the butterflies have to be getting intense. Both will be in the Green Room and should hear their names called sooner rather than later.
Beyond that, it’s impossible to have any idea where they’ll go. Every team has their priorities ranked and it’s possible that someone might trade up or down to get one of the Duke products and maybe some lagniappe tossed in.
Let’s take a look at where the mock drafts project things. The ones listed below see McCain going between 13 and 18 while Filipowski is pegged anywhere from 22 to 31, which would make him a second-round pick. However, he has received a Green Room invitation, which means the NBA expects him to go in the first round. That said, there are no guarantees.
