THE British retailer is killing it when it comes to summer must-haves and it looks as if they aren’t stopping anytime soon.
From beach dresses to crochet cardigans – Marks & Spencer have all your wardrobe essentials, and a new one is catching shoppers’ eyes.
Shoppers have found a new M&S dress to swoon over[/caption] Fashion fans who have it say it’s ‘fabulously flattering’[/caption] The ruching on the waist gives a gorgeous silhouette[/caption]The Jersey Round Neck Ruched Midi Column Dress has sold 39 times in the last 48hours despite only recently appearing on the website – so you want to be quick if you want to get it for yourself.
The dress currently comes in one colour – black, and comes in an inclusive size range from 6 to 24.
The frock has a zipper detail in the back for a formal fitting body and has a gorgeous midi A-line skirt.
The ruching along the sides of the waist also help give the appearance of a smaller one and looks flattering on every body shape.
You can easily dress it up or down by pairing it with chunky sandals as the model has or a cute pair of kitten heels.
And it comes at a bargain price of just £45.
M&S bosses say: “This sleeveless jersey dress is designed in a flattering column shape, with ruching at the sides for a figure-hugging effect.
“It’s cut in a regular fit and has a round neckline for a timeless look.
“A zip fastening at the back makes it easy to slip on and off.”
The new addition to their website is already selling fast and shoppers who have already snagged it couldn’t be happier with it’s flattering shape.
One person wrote: “Fabulously flattering!
“I’ve just received this dress and it’s fantastic-the fit is superb. I ordered my usual size 12, which I buy in the M&S tea dresses and it fits really well.
“The material is thicker and good quality- it looks more expensive than it is. It’s so flattering and gives you a great shape – even if you like to eat and don’t have a perfect figure.
“There’s a very similar M&S bodycon dress to this in Calico- so I ‘ve ordered that one as well.”
Deputy Fashion Editor Abby McHale revealed to Fabulous why M&S is the shop of the moment. She explained:
“M&S has really pulled it out of the bag this season, there is so much good product to be excited about.
“A brand once known for its ‘frumpy fashion’ that notion is long gone with it now being one of the leading high street stores for womenswear.
“Its handbag range in particular is super strong with them selling 170% vs plan, with lots more designer dupes for just a fraction of the price.
“The brand is now also the #1 for style perceptions, compared to the #3 spot it had last year, this comes from a really strong design team focused on modernising the brand, not only taking into consideration how the pieces look, but how easy they are to wear also.
“Price is also a big factor with you being able to get many good quality pieces all for under £30.
“After having a sneak peak of the upcoming collection there are so many more amazing pieces that are dropping over the next few months to keep your eyes on.
“Think leopard print dresses, colourful co-ords, embroidered boho jackets, plus lots of swimwear and amazing accessories, as well as great wardrobe staples that will last year on year.”
Another commented: “Before giving up hope of finding a suitably flattering wedding guest dress for my size 16 figure I randomly added this to multiple options to try.
“In addition to quality feel fabric and classic column cut I was genuinely surprised at how flattering it was on.
“This is promoted by the ruching to the side and slight flaring of the skirt from waist which gives illusion of hourglass figure. Absolutely delighted with this dress and would definitely recommend.”
