Report: Tottenham are currently working on two summer transfer deals
According to Football Insider, Tottenham Hotspur have now begun work on selling Emerson Royal and replacing the Brazilian with a new right-back.

There is still plenty of work to do this summer in terms of both incomings and outgoings for Tottenham as Ange Postecoglou continues to put his imprint on the squad ahead of his second season in charge.
Football Insider have claimed that the two deals the Lilywhites are currently working on are Emerson’s sale and a deal for a new right-back to serve as Pedro Porro’s understudy.
The report reveals that the Lilywhites are holding out for £20m for the Brazilian, having commenced talks with AC Molan regarding the sale.
Spurs want a new right-back this summer
While Spurs want to offload the 25-year-old permanently, it is alleged that Milan are exploring multiple options including a loan to buy this summer.
According to the update, Tottenham are drafting plans to reinvest the money from Emerson’s sale on a new young right-back, who has the potential to develop under Postecoglou.
The publication backs up what we have heard from various other sources over recent weeks by stating that the North London club are continuing to keep tabs on Leeds United sensation Archie Gray.

Spending around £40m or more on Gray would only make sense for Tottenham if Postecoglou views the youngster as someone who can slot into midfield in the future rather than as just a backup to Porro.
If it is a right-back cover that Ange is looking for, moves for one of Vanderson or Lutsharel Geertruida would make more sense for Spurs.
