Good Tuesday evening!
Storms and showers have already found their way back to Central Ohio after a round come through this afternoon. While tonight will remain relatively calm, there is a lot more wet weather on the way for the middle of the week.
Tonight will remain mainly dry, but we could still see one or two showers develop. Temperatures overnight will fall to the lower 70s and upper 60s. It'll remain fairly humid so expect muggy conditions tomorrow.
A few scattered showers will push in out of the west shortly after sunrise tomorrow. The line of showers and a few isolated storms looks like it will putter out as it tracks across Central Ohio. However, we are not entirely out of the woods with wet weather quite yet. Storms & showers return for the later afternoon and evening as the cold front sweeps through.
There is the potential to see strong to severe weather once again tomorrow. All of Central Ohio is at least at a 1/5 level risk. The southeastern portion, stretching from Cambridge, across Athens, and into Piketon and Chillicothe, is at a 2/5 level risk. Strong winds remain the primary threat along with heavy rains. Lower end threats would include hail and an isolated spin-up tornado.
Sunny and slightly cooler weather returns for Thursday. Going into the weekend, temperatures climb back to the lower 90s with scattered showers building by Saturday. Dry and seasonable weather returns for the first few days of next week.
