A man who was shot in Hartford on Tuesday afternoon was taken to the hospital.
Officers just after 1:45 p.m. responded to the area of 41 Hillside Ave. on a report of a person shot and found a man in his 30s suffering from a gunshot wound, according to Lt. Aaron Boisvert of the Hartford Police Department.
The man was taken to Hartford Hospital and treated for injuries not considered life-threatening, Boisvert said in a statement. He was not identified.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.
The shooting remains under investigation.
