The Hockey Hall of Fame is not that exclusive (we’re looking at you, baseball).
If you were a great hockey player with a long career, chances are you’ll eventually become a Hall of Famer and be forever immortalized in Toronto. There might still be a wait, but people who watch the highest level of the sport generally have a vested interest in properly commemorating every era of the game.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Hockey Hall of Fame announced its 2024 class. Unsurprisingly, it features an eclectic mix of puck wizards — some from Detroit, some from Chicago — accomplished executives, and even a suit for the NHL.
