GROUP C has thrown up many surprises so far with England needing to beat Slovenia to guarantee top seed – and ALL teams still having a chance to go through.
The Three Lions go into their final game of the group stage on the back of a disappointing 1-1 draw with Denmark.
Elsewhere, Serbia, Denmark and Slovenia all still have a chance of qualifying for the knockout stages with one game remaining in Group C.
Group C table below (before final round of fixtures on June 25)…
If two or more teams are level on points at the end of the group stage, a head-to-head record is used as the first tie-breaker to determine their final rankings.
This is followed by goal difference and goals scored in the matches between the teams in question, followed by most wins and then disciplinary records across the group as a whole.
Should two teams be tied on points, goals scored and conceded at the end of the group stage – with no tiebreaker separating them from any other team – a penalty shootout will dictate their final placings.
