IT’S likely to be one of the most-watched TV programmes of the year as the nation tunes in for England’s final Group C game of Euro 2024.

Euro 2024: England v Slovenia (6.45pm ITV1)
While Gareth Southgate’s men will go into the match as favourites to claim all three points, Slovenia shouldn’t be underestimated, particularly as they boast one of the most in-demand strikers in Europe – RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Šeško – in their squad.
Will he cause the Three Lions’ defence some serious problems in Cologne?
The Great British Sewing Bee (9pm BBC1)
They say never work with children – but they didn’t mention anything about making clothes for them!
In Kids Week, the remaining sewers have to make outfits to fit their adorable mini mannequins, starting with a sequin bomber jacket.
Then it’s time to embrace their inner wild child, as they’re asked to make an animal fancy-dress costume for a toddler out of an old beach towel – which throws up some amazing creations and even allows Kiell to use the very cheesy pun: “Safari, so good.”
But with the competition tighter than ever, everything rides on the Made to Measure, which is to present an outfit inspired by one of their own personal childhood photos.
However, as the time ticks by, it’s clear their ambitious ideas are far from child’s play…
Super Surgeons: A Chance At Life (9pm C4)
After viewers were informed of the sad loss of 43-year-old Cameron at the end of last week’s programme, we know that despite the gargantuan efforts of the pioneering surgeons at The Royal Marsden Hospital, not every outcome can be positive.
However, for 53-year-old ex-Naval pilot Rich – who believes his sarcoma cancer was caused by breathing in chemical fumes from aviation fuel leaking back through the cargo door of his aircraft – there’s hope that Head and Neck surgeon Professor Vin Paleri can successfully remove the tumour in his neck, which has been unresponsive to chemotherapy, and give him his life back.
Coldplay: Our Glastonbury (10pm BBC2)
With a fifth headline performance set for this weekend, Coldplay have earned their status as Glastonbury legends, or ‘the Glastonbury houseband’, as they’ve affectionately become known.
In celebration of their achievement, the band’s frontman Chris Martin talks fans through their 25-year love affair with the Somerset-based festival.
Plus, there’s archive footage from interviews with the rest of the band.
On Assignment (11.30pm ITV1)
Euro 2024 is currently dominating our screens, but the countdown is already on for this summer’s next big sporting event, the Paris Olympics.
The French city has spent over a billion Euros to make sure the River Seine is swimmable for competitors for the first time in over 100 years, but with concerns about waterborne diseases and heavy rains causing sewage outflows, is it really safe?
Here, Lucy Watson investigates.
Bad Press: Storyville (10pm BBC4)
The hard-hitting documentary strand follows the journey of defiant journalist Angel Ellis working for Mvskoke Media, a news outlet for the Native American tribe The Muscogee Nation in the US.
In 2018, the federally recognised tribe was granted a free and independent Press – which was quickly thwarted when the tribe’s legislative branch repealed the landmark Free Press Act.
Angel sees their intervention as a flagrant act of oppression, and won’t be silenced…
