Gigi Hadid showcased a retro 1950s look in pointed pumps at the Vogue World: Paris after-party at Maxim’s on Monday night.
Wearing a slightly elevated pair of pumps, Hadid’s shoes were constructed with a pointy design on the upper and also featured a slingback black strap for extra security. The silhouette was completed with a short heel measuring between 1 to 2 inches in height, which she paired alongside a sparkly purple minidress.
Earlier in the day, Hadid was seen modeling alongside Kendall Jenner; the segment was a part of Vogue’s intent to showcase the different sports that have defined each decade. Equestrians were the highlighted sport for the 1950s era, which saw both Hadid and Jenner matching in traditional riding attire. The models both wore a pair of black Hermès over-the-knee riding boots that were made from leather, tan brown blazers, a black top underneath, slim-fitted black pants and a black helmet. Hadid and Jenner both also wore dark red lipstick.
Hadid usually chooses understated glam for her formal events and appearances. In March, she was seen in a sleek pair of blue kitten heels by Khaite while shooting a new commercial for Maybelline in New York City. Showcasing the Manhattan-based brand’s Seville pumps, the shoe featured a velvety suede upper, an elongated, pointy toe and a v-shaped vamp.
For Miu Miu’s Paris Fashion Week party in October 2023, Hadid stepped out in a pair of the brand’s $1,270 kitten-heeled pumps. Those pumps were emphasized by their smooth, glossy texture and featured pointed toes, accentuated buckled slingback straps, three long thin straps and a short heel measuring 2.25 inches in height.
Earlier that year, while taking a stroll through New York City in August 2023, the model hit the streets in a pair of black Mansur Gavriel Dream Ballerina ballet flats that consisted of high-shine patent leather uppers with soft rounded black leather cap toes and coordinating black bows on the toe box. Hadid has been spotted in a number of fashionable shoes from luxury designers since shooting to fame in the early 2010s including Dior, Chanel, Gucci, Prada and more.
