LOVE Island star Tiffany Leighton discovered Ronnie Vint’s shock U-turn during last night’s Aftersun, prompting her to scream: ‘Are you joking?’
In one hilarious moment from the ITV2 show, dumped Islander Tiffany, 25, was told by host Maya Jama, 29, that her show partner Ronnie, 27, had moved on rather quickly.
She’d only been out of the villa for a couple of hours but the semi-pro footballer’s head had already been turned.
Revealing his new infatuation to be Harriett Blackmore, 24, Maya asked if the HR coordinator was surprised.
Stunned by the revelation, Tiffany replied: “Are you joking?” with his mum seen awkwardly laughing in the audience.
The Hertfordshire-native added: “Oh my god, she’ll be buzzing with that cos she’s obsessed with him.
“But I’m surprised on his behalf that he’s doing that, to be fair. I mean, good luck to them both.”
Also in her exit interview, Tiffany insisted she and Harriett will never be friends.
She said: “I don’t know if we’d ever see eye to eye, after the Ronnie situation. There is no bad blood from my side but we handle situations very differently.”
Tiffany also admitted that she has no regrets with how things played out with Ronnie.
She added: “My journey with Ronnie was fun, we had such a laugh and got on really well because we had a lot in common.
“It was difficult being in a triangle with Harriett at the start, but ultimately something was missing so I had to be honest with him and be true to myself and my feelings.”
And, in a first look at tonight’s episode, Jess White – who was previously battling Harriett for Ronnie’s affections – confesses she still doesn’t know where she stands with him.
Speaking to Uma Jammeh, she says: “I’ll be completely honest, straight away there was a smidge of me today there was a potential that I would be willing to explore something…
“The fact that like she’s been straight away buzzing, he will see that, he doesn’t need to put any effort in.
“Even if it’s that he’s doing it because he doesn’t think the door is open with me, it’s giving that you are a bit desperate…”
Uma replies: “Also, instead of not pulling you because he’s not sure if the door is open or not with you, find out…find out.”
Jess adds: “Exactly, find out. All he needs to do is pull me and ask a question.”
