EUGENE – Arkansas freshman Kaylyn Brown produced a leading time of 49.71 seconds in the semifinal of the 400m during the second day of the U.S. Olympic Team Trials and established a bit of history while advancing to the final.
In the men’s shot put final, Ryan Crouser advanced to his third Olympic Games with a 74-11.25 (22.84) winning mark. Joe Kovacs finished second with a 73-7.25 (22.43) while Payton Otterdahl placed third 73-0.5 (22.26).
