Nigel Farage will romp home in Clacton with massive 27 point lead, our exclusive poll reveals[/caption]In a painful blow to the Tories the survey says that three in four of Farage’s vote comes from disgruntled former Conservative voters.
The survey conducted this week by JL Partners on behalf of Friderichs Advisory Partners has the Brexit firebrand on a ballot-busting 48 per cent.
It has him a mammoth 27 points ahead of Tory incumbent Giles Watling, despite the ex-actor winning an endorsement from Boris Johnson.
Farage leads in every age group apart from 18-34-year-olds with only one in five 2019 Tory voters sticking with Watling.
Last night Daniel Friderichs told The Sun: “Nigel Farage and Reform have clear momentum: he is set to win Clacton on the biggest swing ever.
“What this poll suggests to me is that this momentum might extend beyond this seat too, and mean other gains for Reform on July 4.”
Yesterday Farage said pollsters were still “playing catch up” after his return to frontline politics as he lashed out at Tory “betrayal” on immigration, the economy and Brexit.
