OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — The Homeless Alliance is asking for donations to fund kitchen improvements and fridge repairs at their Day Shelter in northwest Oklahoma City so they can continuing providing breakfasts and lunches to guests.
According to the Homeless Alliance, the Day Shelter sees an average of 376 guest each day, and has prepared over 103,000 meals for the unhoused in the last year.
In an effort to fund updates to the shelter kitchen and replace the walk-in fridge condenser, the Alliance launched a Fix Our Fridge Campaign with the goal of raising $30K by July 31.
