A LORRAINE reporter left telly fans completely stunned as she appeared to strip starkers for a segment on Thursday’s show.
The ITV programme’s showbiz and lifestyle correspondent, Lucie Cave, 51, didn’t need to worry about selecting a snazzy on-screen outfit as she rocked up to cover Nudefest.
Lorraine Kelly presented the main show from the studio as the antics in Somerset played out[/caption] The ITV daytime show broadcast live from Nudefest[/caption]That’s because the six-day event, held at Thorney Lakes in Somerset, is the UK’s biggest naturist festival.
It is expected to attract 600 visitors and describes itself as a “celebration of naturism”
Lucie introduced a snippet of the festival appearing fully naked with her shoulders exposed and the cameraman filming from chest-up.
She appeared naked as she flashed a pout but later took to her Instagram Stories to reveal the trick – pulling down the straps of her green dress to make it appear she was topless.
Lucie revealed the hack on her page and put “Reporting from Nudefest – am I or aren’t I?”
She then revealed: “I was cheating.”
Later in the ITV series she chatted to festival goers and asked host Lorraine Kelly, 64, if she would consider coming along.
Lorraine said: “I wouldn’t want to inflict myself on anyone to be fair.
“I would feel weird without the support in the bosom area.
“I wouldn’t want to run around and have two black eyes.”
Meanwhile, the festival promises guests “an incredible line-up of daytime activities with nightly entertainment across multiple venues.”
Organisers add: “There is always something to do and at the heart of it all is our great British Naturism community.”
After watching the segment, fans took to X to comment: “Nudefest? F**ks sake. I don’t need to be looking at that. I’ve just had my breakfast.”
A second put: “No doubt lorraine will be giggling like a schoolgirl over Nudefest.”
Lucie is no stranger to a cheeky segment on Lorraine’s weekday show.
Back in September, she stunned fans as she lifted her skirt and gave a glimpse of her pants live on-air.
It came during a segment centred on the concept of wearing underwear as outerwear.
At the time, Lucie referred to screen star Emma Corrin who looked unrecognisable as they sported a green knit vest and knickers at an event for the 80th Venice International Film Festival.
Getting in on the act, Lucie then lifted up her pink leopard-print maxi skirt to reveal bright red pants of her own.
She told viewers: “Sorry if this is going to put you off your breakfast – sorry mum!
“Anyway that’s it, that’s all you’re going to see from me.”
