Rapper Remy Ma‘s son has been arrested and charged with first degree murder.
The 44-year-old entertainer‘s son, Jayson Scott, 23, was placed under arrest on Tuesday (June 18) for the alleged murder of a man named Darius Guillebeaux, 47, who passed in the shooting that took place in June of 2021. The NYPD say there was a dispute on June 7, 2021 that resulted in the death of Guillebeaux. A man named Richard Swygert, 22, was also charged in the murder.

ABC News reports that Scott was not only charged with first degree murder, but also “second-degree murder, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree reckless endangerment.”
In a statement about what happened on June 7, 2021, police shared, “Upon arrival, officers observed a 47-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with multiple gunshot wounds to the head and chest. EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.”
