A WOMAN has left people horrified after revealing her long list of ridiculous rules and demands her bridal party has to follow.
While we understand everyone wants the build-up to their big day to be magical, this bride’s requests seriously take the biscuit.
In the post, her wedding plan had been revealed and she didn’t hold back on what she expected from her closest friends.
The bride-to-be wrote: “A wedding isn’t just a day, it’s the day you get to be the star of your own fairy tale and in my fairy tale everything is perfect because I deserve nothing less.”
“I’m thrilled to have you all along for the ride, but let’s be clear: this is my big day, and everything needs to be perfect,” she added.
The bride expected bridesmaids to follow every detail of her wedding plan and the next seven months leading up to it.
It seemed like the bride had a big social media following as well as she revealed her wedding announcement went viral and lots of brands had reached out to cover stuff the bride would need.
“I have some expectations that you all MUST meet. These are non-negotiable, so get ready to step up your game,” she continued.
The bride expected her bridesmaids to have weekly cheek-ins for at least an hour for the next seven months in person at Soho House.
She also wanted all of her bridesmaids to fly out to New York with her for her wedding dress try-on and to have a lavish weekend filled with Champagne brunches and fancy hotel stays.
The woman revealed she expected them to spend at least $700 on the trip.
But that’s not all, she also wanted her bridesmaids to start their beauty regime for the wedding six months before the big day.
She had lots of brands she wanted her girls to use including pricey Drunk Elephant, Dyson, and Barbara Sturm but still expected them to pay for it.
She added: “Send me your credit card information, and I’ll have my brother’ organise the rest. Even if you have these things we want them fresh and new for the wedding.”
Next was the engagement party that they were all expected to bring their A-game for.
The next month, the bride had planned a spa getaway for the girls but yet again, they were expected to fork out for it themselves with a value of at least $500.

When I was planning my wedding this August, the idea of sending out a list of ‘rules’ never once popped into my mind.
The first two this bride created seem fair enough, but also like they should be common sense, and then they just descend into chaos.
Insisting on “approving” all photos before they go out and ordering guests to stick to a “minimalist” colour palette seems pretty OTT to me.
And rudely telling guests to leave you alone when you arrive at the ceremony and eat your dinner – while also ordering them to come say goodbye before leaving – is a bit mad.
I don’t know how many guests this bride is inviting, but everyone knows weddings can get a bit manic. Of course it’d be nice to greet and say goodbye to everyone personally, but I’ve come to peace with the fact that probably won’t happen.
Like with everything in life, once you get yourself in a tizz about everything happening a certain way, you’re basically setting yourself up for failure.
I don’t pretend to be the most laid-back bride ever and I can’t promise I won’t get a bit stressed if we’re running loads behind on the morning of my wedding, but this is just massively over the top.
I agree with the commenters, I wouldn’t bother going.
But don’t worry, the bride revealed the limo costs were already covered.
And it doesn’t stop there, the bride naturally expected not one, but two bachelorette parties, the first being in Ibiza.
She didn’t reveal how much it would cost just yet, but they were then also expected to pay for hair and make-up consultations costing $400, (an extra $1,200 if she deems the bridesmaid’s need extension).
The bride also wanted the best bridal shower ever and expected them all to pay and organise the day warning ‘make sure it’s perfect’.
A month prior to the wedding she also wanted people to fly back out to New York for a final dress fitting.
The destination wedding would be in Miami so the bride-to-be also expected one more bachelorette to take place while there and expected them to spend another $1,000.
In total, the bride expected the guests to fork out $2,600 (£2,042) on her dream wedding.
“Remember, this is MY big day, and I expect nothing less than perfection,” she finished the note saying.
The post shared on the Reddit page Wedding Shaming has gone viral with hundreds commenting on the post.
Everyone was taken aback by the bride’s ridiculous rules and requests – claiming she’d lose her friends before the wedding happens.
One person wrote: “Wow. This should be titled “How to Lose Friends in 7 Months.””
Another commented: “Anyone who is foolish enough to participate in this INSANITY deserves to part with their money.”
“And that’s a regretfully decline from me”,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “If you’re gonna have this sort of champagne taste, you need the budget to pay for it.”
“Man, I hope everyone in this bridal party is super rich. Because either the bride is delusional or this is just normal rich people wedding things,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “Are my eyes not working? Did that litany of ridiculousness seriously end with “10,000” for costs for the wedding week? Tell me I am reading that, and “wedding WEEK” wrong, please.”
