CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- State Police arrested a Ballston Lake man for the second time in a week for allegedly burglarizing a Clifton Park business. Police said Shaun Sheriff, 32, was charged with burglary after reportedly entering a closed business on Monday.
According to police, a Clifton Park business reported its store being broken into overnight, and an investigation led them to the Sheriff. Police also said that the Sheriff had damaged and stolen property from the business, which was recovered.
Sheriff was arrested on Thursday, June 13, for allegedly burglarizing two other Clifton Park businesses. After his arrest, police issued him an appearance ticket for Clifton Park Town Court on Thursday, June 20.
Sheriff was arrested near Clifton County Road and processed at the State Police barracks in Clifton Park. Police found a burglary tool in Sheriff's possession before he was released with a Clifton Park Town Court appearance ticket for Thursday, June 27.
