MANCHESTER UNITED ace Luke Shaw has revealed his best team-mate XI.
But it left some United fans heartbroken due to a massive omission from the left-back.
The full-back’s career has seen him play for Southampton, England and of course the Red Devils.
The defender, though, didn’t have room for any of his former Saints team-mates.
However, that wasn’t what triggered thousands of fans on social media.
United supporters were left gutted when Shaw, 28, left team-mate Lisandro Martinez out in favour of fellow England international John Stones, who plays for rivals Manchester City.
Martinez has won over the Manchester giants’ faithful with some stunning and passionate displays ever since his arrival from Ajax two years ago.
The centre-back remains popular at Old Trafford despite an injury-laden campaign this past season.
One fan tweeted: “Luke Shaw names the best XI of players he’s played with.. Stones over Licha hurt my soul.”
Another commented: “Shameful.”

A third posted: “How can he put Stones over Martinez?”
This fan said: “Stones over Licha? Naah.”
And that one joked: “He’s a traitor.”
Shaw picked ex-United goalkeeper David De Gea between the sticks with England team-mates Kyle Walker and Stones at right-back and centre-back respectively in his 4-3-3 formation.
The left-back went on to choose himself for that position, where he will be playing for the Three Lions at Euro 2024 once he returns to fitness.
United hero Michael Carrick is placed in midfield with England legends Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard by his side.
Red Devils’ legends Wayne Rooney, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Cristiano Ronaldo spearhead Shaw’s attack.
