Love Island star signs up for Celebrity SAS Who Dares Wins after making history on ITV2 show

LOVE Island’s Tasha Ghouri has signed up for Celebrity SAS Who Dares Wins.

The 25-year-old made history as the first-ever deaf contestant on the ITV2 show.

Since then she has dramatically changed her looks, swapping her trademark blonde hair for flowing amber locks.

Looking worlds away from the villa, now Tasha is up for a new challenge – to impress the DS, Chief Instructor Rudy Reyes, Chris Oliver, Billy Billingham and Jason ‘Foxy’ Fox.

A source told The Sun: “Tasha loves challenging herself and really thrives when she does things out of her comfort zone.

“She was really brilliant on Love Island, and will be perfect for SAS.

“She can’t wait to represent the deaf community on SAS and battle it out until the end.”

Tasha was born deaf and has had a cochlear implant, a small electronic device that allows wearers to process sound and speech, since she was five years old.

Now 25, Tasha lives with her boyfriend Andrew Le Page who she met on the eighth series of Love Island.

She recently slammed the ITV2 show on Snapchat after seeing the series 11 cast.

Sharing an unimpressed-looking selfie Tasha wrote: “Love seeing the inclusivity in the Love Island cast… feels like we’re going backwards.”

Two years after reaching the Love Island final, Tasha and Andrew are stronger than ever.

She told PS UK: “We definitely still get lot of questions about when we’re going to get engaged.

“I mean, it’s more up to Andrew than it is to me. We’ve both said when it happens, it happens but we’re not in any rush to get married anytime soon.

“We’re definitely in it for the long haul. We’re both very happy.

“I can’t believe it’s been two years since we met but I couldn’t love him anymore, he’s amazing.”

Tasha’s set to join fellow Love Island stars Chloe Burrows and Adam Collard on the new Celeb SAS series.
