WHEN your hair is greasy in between washes, you might be inclined to reach for dry shampoo.
But according to one beauty guru, this is the last thing you need – in fact, Tati Westbrook claims that the secret to fixing greasy tresses is in the skincare aisle.
The beauty guru, 42, is a make-up expert, social media influencer, and YouTube star with a net worth around £9.5 million.
Despite her worth, she has revealed how she executes a 10p hack to banish oily locks in seconds.
She says that it works so much better than dry shampoo that you might consider never washing your hair again.
In a recent YouTube video, Tati urged her followers who suffer with greasy hair to get an oil-reducing micellar water.
She uses the Bioderma Sébium Cleansing Micellar Water for Blemish-Prone Skin, which costs £13 for 250ml on Lookfantastic.
Then, she decants it into a spray bottle.
When her hair is greasy (particularly after a workout), Tati spritzes the micellar water onto her hair and then blasts it with a hair dryer to draw out the oil.
“It works so well, it is astonishing,” she quipped.
“The micellar water is eating up the oil, there’s no white and flakey residue from a dry shampoo, there’s no mess.
“Your hair will look so ridiculously fresh you might be thinking ‘gosh, I never have to wash my hair again’.
“It literally will elongate the bounciness and freshness of your hair.”
Tati urged gym bunnies in particular to try the hack, explaining that it’s particularly handy when her scalp is “covered in sweat”.
“You cannot put baby powder spray on sweaty hair and think that it’s going to end well – it’s not,” she said.
