COPS have launched an urgent manhunt for a hit-and-run suspect after a 12-year-old boy was killed.
Dolars Aleksanders, 21, fled the scene of the horror on Friday after he allegedly mowed down Keaton Slater on Radford Road, Coventry.
Tragic Keaton was making his way home from school around 4.30pm when Aleksanders is said to have struck him down with his BMW.
Officers seized a BMW involved in the crash but efforts to find the suspect are still ongoing.
West Midlands Police is now urging anyone who sees Aleksanders not to approach him – but to call 999 immediately.
Terror broke out on the busy road shortly after the fatal crash.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, young Coventry City FC fan Keaton died at the scene.
Tributes have since poured in for the “amazing” boy.
Paying tribute older brother Josh Slater posted on Facebook: “RIP baby brother. You was the best uncle to my little Theo.
“And an amazing little brother to me. We will get you the Justice you deserve. Fly high and ill see you on the other side little brother. We loved you so much and we are all heartbroken.”
