Countdown star lands brand new project away from beloved Channel 4 show
A COUNTDOWN star has landed a brand new gig that’s worlds away from the show.
Colin Murray joined the beloved letters and numbers show back in 2022, replacing Anne Robinson.
But now the presenter has landed a new role away from the Channel 4 programme.
Taking to social media, Colin announced a new football podcast all about Wales.
The 47-year-old will co-host the show alongside BBC star Elis James – and it launches next week.
Colin told fans: “The ability of Elis to take any sporting story and make it about Wales truly is special.
“Launching next week – there’s a trailer up wherever you get your podcasts from that explains more.”
Countdown fans don’t need to worry as Colin is still remaining on the show.
Reacting to the news, one fan said: “Can’t wait, 2 of my favourite broadcasters working together!”
A second wrote: “This sounds excellent! Shall keep an eye out.”
“This is going to be outstanding,” said a third.
While a fourth posted: “Lovely. One of my Five Live favourites and you Colin working together. Looking forward to listening.”
