What We’re Tracking
Higher dew points, yet again, are causing us to start off warm this morning with temperatures this morning in the middle to upper 60s. Another hot, humid day today with mostly sunny weather for much of the day. Highs will climb into the middle to upper 80s, but should feel even warmer with the muggy air in place.
A much better chance for storms arrives later on Tuesday, primarily in the evening hours, as a frontal boundary moves through the area. Storms will initialize along the boundary and move east-southeast. Some storms could be strong to severe. The frontal boundary will kick out a lot of the humidity by Wednesday morning. This sets up for a dry and warm late week.
Highs will stay in the 80s all the way through the weekend, but with lower humidity air in place, overnight low temperatures will fall back into the upper 50s and lower 60s.
