Lucy Hale Slips Into Pretty Little White Gucci Mule Shoes
It looks like celebrities can’t quite let go of their Gucci mules.
Lucy Hale wore a white pair of leather slides from the Italian brand while around Los Angeles.
The Gucci Princetown Mule has been a footwear staple since Alessandro Michele put it on the runway for his 2015 debut show as the creative director of Gucci. Seen sometimes with fur, the shoe became an “it” shoe almost instantaneously, eventually spinning off a few limited-edition versions. The shoe has stayed in the company’s lineup since Michele’s departure in 2022.
The shoe is a sleek design featuring a leather outer, sole and lining. It also features Gucci’s Horsebit gold-tone hardware on the front which nods back to the label’s equestrian heritage. In the past they’ve been worn by a variety of names: Gigi Hadid, Bella Thorne, Sienna Miller, Isla Fisher, Zoe Kravitz and more. The versatility of the shoe means it can be worn with sweatpants, jeans or a dress.
The “Pretty Little Liars” actress wore hers with jeans and an oversized striped shirt. With a pair of shades, the look was perfect for spring weather. The shoe, which retails for $920, sports a heel of shorter than half an inch.
Hale loves a lower style when off-duty and is often spotted in sneakers from On Running. The company recently announced the fifth installment of their ongoing collaboration with LVMH-owned Spanish luxury house Loewe. She’s also been recently seen in an all-white shoe from Alo Yoga. But earlier this week, she was in France at the Cannes Film Festival. While in town for a Miu Miu event, the actress fittingly put on a pair of metallic Miu Miu sandals.
