Box Score · Clippers fall to 19-28
A good start from Tyler Beede went south quickly after he was replaced by Jaime Arias. Beede threw four innings, giving up zero runs on just one hit while striking out two and walking two. Arias replaced him after, giving up ten runs on thirteen hits, including four home runs in four innings pitched.
It wasn’t a great day for the offense. Juan Brito continued his hot streak, going 1-3 with a walk and hit his 8th home run of the season. Daniel Schneemann went 1-3 with a walk, as did George Valera.

Box Score · RubberDucks improve to 26-16
The highlight for the RubberDucks today was Tommy Mace, he continued his breakout season only giving up two runs and striking out seven in seven innings pitched against a very talented Harrisburg lineup that includes big leaguer Lane Thomas, and top prospects Dylan Crews, Robert Hassell III, and Brady House. Mace’s ERA on the season is now down to 2.03! He should see a promotion to Columbus soon. Jack Leftwich and Bradley Hanner combined to throw 3 scoreless innings in relief to secure the win for the RubberDucks.
A two run home run from Kody Huff after an Aaron Bracho single put the RubberDucks ahead in the top of the first inning. Huff went 2-4 and raised his OPS to .678 on the season. Alexfri Planez drove in the go ahead run in the top of the tenth inning with a ground out to first base that ultimately lead to the RubberDucks winning.
Tommy Mace delivers again!

Box Score · Captains fall to 23-19
It was a very uncharacteristic offensive performance today from the Captains. Alex Mooney, Maick Collado, and Tyresse Turner all had two hits, but they only managed to bring one run home on a Jake Fox groundout.
Austin Peterson had a fantastic bounce back performance after a rough outing last week. He allowed zero runs on just three hits, striking out eight with zero walks in 7.2 innings pitched. His ERA is down to 3.12 on the season, I believe he should see a promotion to Akron soon. It was a rough performance from the rest of the Captains’ pitching staff, Allan Hernandez walked two batters and only recorded one out, and then Magnus Ellerts came in and allowed four runs on three hits in just one inning.
Phenomenal bounce back start tonight for #Guardians 24yr old RHP prospect Austin Peterson as he struckout 8 batters over 7.2 scoreless innings of work for Lake County against West Michigan! Peterson lowered his ERA to 3.12 on the season. He has only allowed 3 walks to 50… pic.twitter.com/hteYGecTDL

Box Score · Hillcats fall to 21-21
Another lackluster offensive performance from a Guardians’ affiliate. The Hillcats only managed three runs today. Ralphy Velazquez went 1-2 with two walks and an RBI double. Juan Benjamin went 1-4 and also had an RBI double.
Another decent outing from Alonzo Richardson, throwing 5.2 innings and allowing three runs on five hits. His ERA is sitting at 3.89 on the season. It was a tough outing today in relief for Jack Jasiak, he gave up four runs on six hits and three walks in just two innings pitched.
#Guardians 18yr old (1B) prospect Ralphy Velazquez reached base 3x tonight (1-2 2B RBI 2BB) for Lynchburg including this opposite field RBI double in the 4th inning against Fredericksburg.

Box Score · Guardians fall to 5-9
The highlight of this game for me was the fact that Angel Martinez is officially on the road back, as this was his first game on his rehab assignment after fracturing his hamate bone in April. He went 0-3 with a strikeout but it’s just great to see him back out there playing already.
Yanki Baptiste stays hot going 1-3 with an inside the park home run. He’s hitting .300 with a 1.131 OPS on the season thus far. Former top international signing Victor Izturis went 1-2 with two walks.
The Guardians’ 2023 13th round pick, 18 year old Jacob Bresnahan had a really nice outing today. He pitched four innings, and allowed zero runs on just two hits while striking out five and walking just one. He was then replaced by Keegan Zinn, who gave up four runs on three hits and two walks in just two innings pitched.
