The Hyderabad Food Safety Department raided Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru for using expired and unlabeled food items. The violations included 100 kg of Urad Dal, 10 kg of Nandini Curd, and eight litres of milk found expired. Additionally, improperly labeled raw rice, white labia, and unlabeled Jaggery were seized. The cafe, known for its South Indian breakfast, recently expanded its Quick Service Restaurant chain to Hyderabad. The raid is part of the department's efforts to ensure food safety and hygiene standards at eateries.
