TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The owner of No Fun and Pint Sized is making some changes. No Fun, a live music venue in Troy, has been listed for sale, and Pint Sized, a small bar and bottle shop in Albany and Saratoga Springs, is changing its name.
Owner August Rosa made the announcement about the businesses on Instagram on Tuesday. On July 5, Pint Sized will be rebranding as Dive, he wrote.
"Same ownership, same staff, same business model. Just changing the name, clearing out the hard drive, and sneaking some new elements in the mix in the coming weeks," said Rosa.
As for No Fun, located at 275 River Street in Troy, Rosa said the venue has been listed for sale with Jesse Tranvaag of Berkshire Hathaway. The venue is listed for $149,000.
"I am very proud of the place and all the efforts collectively involved. I am deciding to list the business to strike a more reasonable work-life balance," said Rosa.
Rosa made it clear that No Fun is not closing and will continue to have live shows. After No Fun is sold, Rosa hopes to continue presenting music at the venue on a smaller scale as DIVE PRESENTS.
"I am confident that whatever party shows interest will maintain the community that has been built and sees the value in No Fun as a concept and not just the space itself," said Rosa.
As per the listing, No Fun at 275 River Street has a capacity of 208, an excellent sound system, and a full bar. If interested, you can check out the listing on the Berkshire Hathaway website.
