HALFMOON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held Wednesday, June 5 at 3 p.m. to kick off the Halfmoon Farmer's Market outdoor season. This will also ring in the seasonal relocation of the market at Halfmoon's Abele Park.
Any purchase made on opening day will offer a free hot dog or hamburger. The Halfmoon Farmer's Market will also introduce "pop-in" vendors, allowing those who cannot commit to a weekly presence to join the market for a nominal fee of $15 per time.
