ISLAMABAD, May 18 (Xinhua) -- Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directed to launch an initiative to combat child stunting across the country, the Prime Minister's Office said in a statement.
Chairing a meeting here on Friday, the prime minister said that children's best growth and development are crucial for Pakistan's bright future, and a nationwide awareness campaign to prevent stunting is essential.
