GARY Windass is up to his old tricks in Coronation Street, hiding another huge secret from wife Maria Connor.
Having arrived on the ITV soap in 2008, Gary – played by actor Mikey North – has been married to unlucky-in-love Maria (Samia Longchambon) since 2020.

Hearing this, Gary claims he had to buy a new boiler for the factory.
Viewers have also seen Gary grow closer to his ex Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien), to whom he was previously engaged.
Their relationship ended when Sarah dumped Gary following his involvement with loan shark Rick Neelan (Greg Wood) and affair with Nicola Rubinstein (Nicola Thorp).
Notably, Gary supported Sarah when her teenage daughter Bethany (Lucy Fallon) was groomed and abused by Nathan Curtis – who has recently returned to the soap– and his grooming gang in 2017.
Meanwhile, Sarah has had a tumultuous time after her lover Damon Hay (Ciarán Griffiths) was sent to prison – after which he then cruelly dumped Sarah.
In recent scenes, Sarah sparked concern from Gary after he saw her knocking back wine at The Rovers Return.
After seeing she was preparing to take another bottle home with her, Gary went over to intervene.
After Maria came home and found the pair acting shifty, she placed a discreet camera.
She later watched them on her phone, not happy with what she’s saw.
Before Sarah or Maria were in the picture, Gary had a string of romances with other women.
This includes Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) and Izzy Armstrong (Cherylee Houston), who is the mother of his son Jake.
Meanwhile, Gary’s stepson Liam Connor Jr (Charlie Wrenshall) is currently at the centre of a high-profile bullying storyline at the hands of thug Mason (Luca Toolan) and his pals.
Recent scenes saw a stressed Liam overdose on pills that he had found while looking for sweets at Billy and Paul’s flat.
The beloved British soap has been captivating audiences for decades.
The show follows the lives of the residents as they navigate love, loss, family drama, and community struggles.
