‘Survivor 46’ deleted scene: Q doesn’t ‘want a kiss’ when he gets home, he only wants Applebee’s [WATCH]
The Applebee’s reward may have happened two weeks ago on “Survivor 46,” but the castaways still can’t stop talking about it. In this week’s deleted scene, Q Burdette explains why he doesn’t mind missing out on the current reward of Chinese food and letters from home with Charlie Davis, Kenzie Petty and Liz Wilcox because he got to eat good in the neighborhood. And he wants Applebee’s again as soon as possible. Watch the clip above.
“Overall, I think the camaraderie of the group [is that] we’re all happy for the three that had an opportunity to go and get this nice reward of Chinese takeout and the letters,” Q tells the camera. “But I feel the worst for Maria [Shrime Gonzalez], ’cause Ben [Katzman] and I were okay. I didn’t miss it so much.” The 29-year-old real estate agent from Tennessee notes how there weren’t any “juicy shakes and mozzarella sticks and chicken wings and shrimp” this time around, like he had at the Applebee’s feast.

Later on, Q and Maria are sitting by the campfire when he confides in her that when he gets back home, he wants “that appetizer platter again, and those mozzarella sticks were huge.” He goes on, “When I land, I’m gonna call Emily and say, ‘Babe, I don’t even want the flight. We can go there for dinner or tomorrow. Let’s go to Applebee’s.'”
In a confessional, Q claims he has his “first meal already planned” with his “lovely bride Emily.” He smiles, “The second I touch down, I don’t want a kiss, I don’t want a phone — take me to Applebee’s now! I want both of us to get the appetizer platter. I want to share that moment with Emily. And I’m gonna get that Oreo shake, too.” He concludes by stating, “We’re going to Applebee’s and we’re gonna get big!”
As viewers know, Q ended up being eliminated in the 12th episode soon after this deleted scene, as he was blindsided by Charlie, Kenzie, Liz and Ben with a hidden immunity idol in his pocket. (Q and Maria voted for Charlie.) In next week’s “Survivor 46” season finale, Q is now a member of the jury that will determine who wins the $1 million grand prize. Hey, that’s enough money to buy thousands of appetizer platters at Applebee’s!
