Fedde and Pham are neck-and-neck for next player gone
Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across MLB. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Chicago White Sox fans and fans across the country.
This week, we weren’t able to survey you on specific White Sox topics, but there were some interesting polling done across MLB, with the results slotted in below.
(Believe it or not, your participation in SB Nation Reacts actually does a lot to help South Side Sox. The surveys are always short, so they take just a minute of your time. And we know we have a vocal fan base. So make your voice heard, and often, this season.)

This week’s White Sox-centric survey question followed up a bit on the Robbie Grossman trade to Texas. With the club in a rebuild, unspoken or otherwise, who among the veterans are next to go?
Clearly there’s little thought of undoing the “core” by shipping out Luis Robert Jr. — but then, he’s hurt and unable to help any contender quite yet. Erick Fedde does seem to represent the best combination of trade target need and great value, although the smoking-hot bat of Tommy Pham seemingly would provide a lot more value to a team actually competing in 2024 than Grossman.
As for the national snapshot, the Baltimore Orioles flex as the best team in baseball, in the eyes of our national voters. Best-in-AL Yankees? Third. Best-in-NL Phillies? Fourth. Best-nowhere, not even in their own division Cubs? Seventh.
Stay close enough to your email to get your answers in for future surveys, which presumably will include more actual White Sox content.
