Jelly Roll Gets Sporty in Air Jordan 1s for ACM Awards 2024 Red Carpet
Country musician Jelly Roll was seen attending the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards at Omni Frisco Hotel in Texas on Thursday night wearing a pair of custom Air Jordan 1s.
Hosted by Reba McEntire, the annual award show honors the country music industry’s artists and respective accomplishments from the previous year. The ceremony is typically held in April or May, and includes performances and appearances from country music icons, as well as genre-bending musicians. First starting in 1966 and now operating through Dick Clark Productions, this year’s ceremony includes appearances from the likes of Jason Aldean, Kane Brown and more.
Jelly Roll’s sneakers for the event were in line with the casual, sporty looks the singer usually chooses to wear. Earlier this month, he was seen wearing a pair of the Speedland GS:PGH trail shoes while attending the Netflix is a Joke Fest in Pasadena, Calif., with wife Bunnie XO. The sneakers were crafted with a high-tenacity mesh upper, a beaded HTPU external midsole and a Michelin Fiber Lite outsole with approximately 1.5-inch lugs. In April, he was spotted attending the iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles in Nike Air Jordan 1 Lows. This followed an appearance at the 2024 Grammy Awards where he wore a pair of chunky, retro-inspired Louis Vuitton Skate sneakers.

Jelly Roll went with a custom pair of Air Jordan 1s for the 2024 ACMs. A mid-top, the upper portion of the sneakers were made with leather, while the outsole featured a rubber construction meant for comfort, grip and traction. The silhouette included a brown spotted design alongside a black tongue and black laces. Nike’s signature check logo was also featured on the side in the color brown.
Air Jordan 1s have been around since the 1980s, and come in many different variations and colors.
