Gwen Stefani Towers in Roberto Cavalli Platform Sandals at ACM Awards 2024
Gwen Stefani styled fishnet stockings with sky-high strappy platform sandals by Roberto Cavalli for the 2024 ACM Awards red carpet. She appeared alongside husband Blake Shelton, who wore similarly colored brown boots.
The ACMs, airing live on Amazon Prime, will feature a duet from Shelton and Stefani. Additional performances are expected from Jelly Roll, Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Miranda Lambert and Lainey Wilson. ACM New Male Artist of the Year winner Nate Smith will also perform, alongside Avril Lavigne and Chris Stapleton.

Stefani wore Roberto Cavalli platform sandals featuring a peep-toe T-strap design with an ankle fastening complete with a gold logo buckle. The ultra-chunky style, which retails at $1,910 via the brand’s website, is crafted in a warm shade of cognac brown leather and set on a giant wooden platform sole and heel.

Roberto Cavalli became renowned in the early 1970s for his glamorous designs and use of animal prints. The Italian fashion designer, who studied at the Art Institute of Florence, patented an innovative printing process on leather and denim. Cavalli’s namesake fashion brand eventually earned a celebrity following that included Madonna, Charlize Theron, Beyoncé and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Following Cavalli’s death at the age of 83 last month, Fausto Puglisi, who was named creative director of the brand in October 2020, stated: “Dear Roberto, you may not be physically here with us anymore but I know I will feel your spirit with me always. It is the greatest honor of my career to work under your legacy and to create for the brand you founded with such vision and style. Rest in peace, you will be missed and you are loved by so many that your name will continue on, a beacon of inspiration for others, and especially for me.”
