Karen Fairchild Goes Futuristic in Silver Gia Borghini Boots for ACM Awards 2024 Red Carpet
Karen Fairchild went full silver at the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards on Thursday night in Frisco, Texas.
The singer arrived at the Ford Center at The Star wearing silver collaborative boots from Gia Borghini.
Hosted by Reba McEntire, the Academy of Country Music award show honors the genre’s artists and respective accomplishments from the previous year. The ceremony is typically held in April or May, and includes performances and appearances from country music icons, as well as genre-bending musicians. First starting in 1966 and now operating through Dick Clark Productions, this year’s ceremony features appearances from the likes of Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Jelly Roll and more.
About the shoe
Fairchild’s boot was a collaborative shoe between Gia Borghini and Fai Khadra dubbed the Parisi Knee High Boot. It is a metallic leather boot featuring a leather sole. The silver style is Made in Italy and features a black stiletto heel of 3.5 inches. The boot also features side zippers for ease of use.
It is a pointed toe style and features a center seam down the front of the shoe with ruching throughout. The shoe is one in about a dozen style s from a collaborative line. Many other pieces in the collection similarly feature the ruching detail as well as the pointed toe and the metallic embellishment on the toe bed. The line launched earlier this year and the Parisi is still available for $1,540.

Silver and metallic shoe styles are still major trends. At the 2024 ACM Awards, multiple stars wore silver shoes: Karen Fairchild in her pointy-toe boots and Anne Wilson in her more classic cowboy boots. But they are just the latest in. along line of major figures adopting the trend. Whether it’s by way of pointed-toe stilettos (Rita Ora, Jennifer Hudson, Rachel McAdams and Meryl Streep) or platform sandals (Elizabeth Hurley) it’s an in-demand style for 2024. And it makes sense: in 2023, mega-pop stars like Beyonce and Taylor Swift incorporated metallics into the wardrobes of their worldwide tours.
