TEMPLEGATE takes on Tuesday’s action hungry for winners.

LOCHABER (2.45 Beverley, nap)
He enjoyed getting back on turf when a half-length second at Doncaster earlier this month. That was the first time he’d been on the green stuff since last August and he left his modest all-weather form far behind. Clifford Lee had him quickly on the front end and he looked all over the winner until the big gamble of the race hit the front near the line. Lochaber fought back though, which is a good sign, and he will be hard to peg back dropped to the minimum trip here. This seller looks a much softer contest than that Class 5 handicap too.
NOTRE MAISON (7.10 Chepstow, nb)
Went down in a close finish at Wolverhampton 21 days ago. That was her first run since October and her best ever run on the sand. Her wins have all come on turf over this shorter trip and the handicapper has been fair in letting her run off the same mark again. This race doesn’t look any tougher and she has finished in the frame both times she has tackled Chepstow’s undulations.
EMERALDS PRIDE (3.15 Beverley, treble)
Battled right to the line when landing a hat-trick of wins at Redcar on his last run. She’s been off six months but has won first time out before and was impressive when scoring over course and distance in August.
KELPIE GREY (8.00 Ayr, Lucky 15)
Has landed back-to-back wins at Musselburgh without breaking sweat. He is just as happy over this trip and track so should be right there again.
