BETHLEHEM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The second annual Biking, Burgers and Beverages will be on Thursday, July 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Albany County Helderberg-Hudson Rail Trail. The event will feature vendors and activities at Voorheesville Park, with the event organized and sponsored by the Bethlehem and Guilderland Chambers.
Interested vendors can contact their respective chamber based on location and reserve a spot for anywhere from $25 to $50. Parking will be available at The Pavillion in Voorheesville, the Hilton Barn at the intersection of Hilton Road and RT 85A, The Real McCoy at 20 Hallwood Road, and the Blanchard-Currey American Legion Post at 16 Poplar Drive, both in Delmar.
“The Rail Trail is more than just a paved pathway for walkers, joggers, and bikers,” said Bethlehem Chamber President Terri Egan. “It is a way to attract visitors to our area for recreation and increase the number of patrons to our businesses located on or near the trail. Last year’s inaugural event drew more than 300 people along the trail between The Real McCoy and the Blanchard-Currey American Legion Post, and we anticipate an even greater turnout this year.”
“This event is featured as one of our premiere events throughout the year to drive tourism to the area and promote health and wellness among the community,” said Sandra Dollard, Executive Director of the Guilderland Chamber. “We look forward to partnering with our members to demonstrate the vitality of the area.”
