Two people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries following a rollover crash on Interstate 384 in Manchester on Sunday.
Two people were seriously injured in a crash on Interstate 384 in Manchester on Sunday afternoon that required firefighters to extricate both victims from a vehicle that ended up on its roof, entangled in trees.
The crash was reported at 1:43 p.m. on I-384 West in the area of Exit 4, according to Connecticut State Police.
Firefighters had to cut several trees to access the vehicle after it left the road and ended up in a wooded area, according to the Manchester Fire Department. Fire officials said crews then lifted the vehicle and had to “disentangle” two occupants.
It took crews about 15 minutes to extricate the victims.
Both victims were taken to an area hospital with serious injuries, fire officials said.
