BARGAIN hunters are going wild for a hot weather gadget perfect for cars and taking on holiday.

With the temperatures soaring in recent days – including forecasts of up to 27C today – Brits are facing another roasting summer.

And B&M has the ideal low cost solution, having slashed the price of a portable space cooler to a fraction of its retail price.

The Chillmax Air Go is on sale for £4, a major reduction on its £19.99 price elsewhere.

It’s not the first time the low-cost retailer has reduced a Chillmax product, having already cut the manufacturer’s Go Fan from £20 to £5 last week.

One shopper – having shared a photo of the product with a discount sticker on Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK – said: “£4 B&M, works really good too.”

Commenters began frantically tagging friends and family.

One told a pal “you need one” another – presumably having just returned from a trip, added: “This would have been ideal.”

Another person tagged their partner, saying “we need one for our room”, to which they responded “defo”.

One fan of the product said: “It’s great, you freeze the filter and put water water in the top. Blows freezing cold air at you.”

However, not everyone was impressed. One commenter said: These are rubbish. Got one last year and didn’t cool anything down.”

B&M has also slashed the price of another product “perfect for the garden” this summer.

The popular discount store is currently selling a Goodmans “mini projector” for just £20, with the usual retail price being £69.

Of course, always remember to shop around when buying anything like this as you might find it cheaper elsewhere.
