KING Charles appeared in good spirits as he was spotted walking from a church service a day before his first Coronation anniversary.
The monarch looked in high spirits as he chatted to a vicar following a Sunday service in Gloucestershire.
Charles, who marks the first year of his and Camilla’s crowning tomorrow, looked sharp while dressed in a grey suit and a navy tie with red stripes.
The King’s trip to church has followed a busy week which marked his return to public engagements since he was diagnosed with cancer at the beginning of the year.
His Majesty chose to make his public comeback by visiting a cancer hospital.
The monarch and Queen Camilla, 76, visited the Macmillan Cancer Centre at University College Hospital in London where he met with staff treating and offering support to cancer patients.
The King also attended the Royal Windsor Horse Show in jubilant scenes yesterday.
He was snapped tenderly embracing niece Zara Tindall, a former Olympian horse rider, in his third royal engagement this week.
The King returned to public duties this week after asking aides to “supercharge his diary”.
But now its been revealed that William is worried about his father doing too much too soon.
A source close to the prince told The Times: “He wants to make sure his father is balancing his recovery. He knows his dad loves work, but he does worry about him.”
It comes after the King spent close to three months out of the public eye as he began his cancer treatment.
First, Charles was treated for an enlarged prostate, then he revealed his cancer diagnosis.
That was followed quickly by the announcement that the Princess of Wales, also had cancer.
The Palace has not revealed what kind of cancer the King has, or what treatment he has been receiving.
What we do know is that he started a “schedule of regular treatments” in February and docs are pleased with his progress.
A statement said: “No further details are being shared at this stage, except to confirm that His Majesty does not have prostate cancer.”

Harry and Charles chatted for 30 minutes in February — days after the King’s cancer diagnosis.
The King is expected to attend the year’s first Buckingham Palace garden party from 4pm.
Both events will finish around 6pm, clearing the way for a first meeting since Harry’s whistle-stop trip in early February.
A royal source told The Sun: “Harry is normally 5,000 miles away in California but by happy coincidence on Wednesday they will be just two miles apart.
“It’s clear he is keen to see his father as he continues his recovery and most people expect another reunion of some kind next week.”
The potential meeting is unlikely to include Prince William, who has been stung by his brother’s attacks and has not spoken to him since Queen Elizabeth’s funeral.
The royal brothers have largely avoided each other in the past few years as their relationship turned frosty.
William will be away from the capital on Thursday, and on Friday has engagements in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
Meghan is not expected to join Harry at the cathedral.
