According to the Chinese ambassador in Kabul, the country’s Red Cross deposited this money with Mullah Nuruddin Turabi, the Deputy of the Red Crescent of Afghanistan.
Previously, China had also announced that it would send 100 million yuan to “address humanitarian challenges.”
China has had good relations with Afghanistan in the past two years, and officials from this country have repeatedly visited Afghanistan to expand political, economic, and transit relations with the Islamic Emirate’s authorities.
In the past two years, this country has helped Afghanistan with education, health, construction, and sending humanitarian aid.
Amidst a dire humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan, the Red Cross of China has stepped forward with a $100,000 donation to aid flood victims. This gesture occurs against a backdrop of oppressive challenges by the Taliban administration, particularly concerning girls’ education beyond the sixth grade.
Despite these obstacles, international support remains crucial for alleviating suffering and promoting education in the country.
