Pakistan deports over 800 Afghan migrants
The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates Affairs states that Pakistan expelled over 800 Afghan migrants from the country in a single day.
According to a press release by the ministry today, Thursday, May 2nd, 838 Afghan migrants returned to the country after being expelled from Pakistan.
Based on the press release, mentioned migrants re-entered the country through the borders of Torghundi in Nangarhar province and Spin Boldak in Kandahar province.
The Ministry of Migrants Affairs added that the returning migrants include families and single individuals.
The Ministry of Migrants Affairs also reports on the return of migrants from Iran, indicating a recent surge in the expulsion of Afghan migrants from Iran, particularly Pakistan, in recent months.
